My name is Doreen Bridgman and I am the Cognitive Coach. I am a licensed Speech Language Pathologist with special interests in cognition and pragmatics. I have worked in the field of brain injury since 1987, specializing in the area of post-concussion syndrome for the past fifteen years. My work history includes the Center for Cognitive Rehabilitation (UMDNJ), the Center for Head Injuries-JFK, and private offices of Neuropsychologists. My experience with executive functioning and interpersonal communication skills has also allowed me to help students and adults with ADD and learning disabilities. Whether the challenges are related to learning, result from an injury or are a consequence of increased demands at your current job; the Cognitive Coach can help. I will work with you to set short and long term goals, identify your strengths, and develop strategies to manage the challenges so that you can achieve your goals.
